No explanation necessary: Just GO. An entire park dedicated to Australian animals with an exclusive area to sit with, pet, and yes FEED dozens of kangaroos. We stayed for over an hour replenishing food from the many dispensers around the park, petting the sweet kangaroos, and watching them use their tails to walk (who knew??)

An enchanting forest with 18 stations housing various species of monkeys, lemurs, birds, and more. There is a kids play area in the middle for those who need a break from monkeys flying overhead. Stop off at one of the cafes overlooking the hills at the end of your stay and grab an artisan popsicle.

Not only does this river house a number of rescued sea turtles, the entire park is dedicated to kids’ merriment. Beckett took a 20 shekel pony ride around the meadow and later we rode a tractor and learned about the surrounding farms. There are coffee and ice cream stands a long the way, bubbles stations, and kids shows all around. Bring a picnic blanket and sprawl out on a Saturday.

The closest aquarium to Tel Aviv had areas where kids could touch manta rays as well as clear tunnels where they could crawl through and peak up into the various fish displays. Located next to the Biblical Zoo and Butterfly Gardens, make it part of a longer day immersed in animal admiration.
